Who this policy covers
This policy applies to MenaData LLC ("MenaData," "we," "us"), registered in Delaware, United States, and covers personal data we collect from: (a) visitors to this website, (b) contributors who apply to or perform work through our contributor network, and (c) individuals whose information may appear within buyer project data we process on a buyer's behalf (see the Data Processing page for that third case specifically).
What we collect from website visitors
- Information you submit through the project inquiry or contributor application forms (name, email, company, and the other fields on those forms)
- Basic technical data (IP address, browser type, pages visited) collected automatically for security and site operation
Email communications
We send email only in direct response to something you did on this website — there is no newsletter, no marketing list, and no bulk or unsolicited email of any kind. Specifically:
- Submitting the project inquiry form sends one confirmation email to the address you entered, plus an internal notification to our own team so we can follow up.
- Submitting the contributor application form sends the same: a confirmation to you, and an internal notification to our team.
- If you become a contributor or buyer, we send operational email tied to that relationship (e.g., project or account updates) — never marketing email without your separate, explicit opt-in.
To stop receiving any further correspondence, reply to any email from us or contact [email protected] and we will honor the request. We process bounces and complaints automatically and suppress future sends to addresses that report either.
What we collect from contributors
- Identity verification information required to qualify you for paid task work
- Task submissions (audio, image, video, text, or review judgments) as scoped by the specific project you're working on
- Payment information necessary to pay you for completed work
Lawful basis for processing
We process personal data on the basis of: consent (where you submit a form or apply as a contributor), contractual necessity (to perform the services a contributor or buyer has engaged with us for), and legitimate interest (basic security and site-operation logging).
Retention
We keep personal data only for as long as we need it for the purposes described in this policy — to respond to your inquiry, to manage your contributor relationship and pay you, or to meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations — and then delete or anonymize it. Buyer project data is retained and deleted according to that buyer's project agreement.
Data residency & sub-processors
We use Amazon Web Services (AWS) to host our application, database, and file storage and to send email, and Cloudflare to deliver and protect this website. If your project requires data to be stored in a specific jurisdiction, tell us during scoping and we'll confirm the arrangement in your project agreement.
Your rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at [email protected].
