Home/How It Works

From requirement to training-ready data

Five steps, in order — this is one of the few places on this site where a sequence actually matters, so it's the one place we number things.

01

Tell us what you need

Data type, geography, dialect or profession requirements, use case, volume, and quality bar. This is a conversation, not a form you fill in blind — see the project form on the contact page.

02

We design the project

Task instructions, contributor screening criteria, workflow, and the specific quality rules the review layer will check against — written before recruitment starts, not improvised after.

03

We build the right workforce

Contributors and, where needed, credentialed experts are recruited against the criteria from step 2 — country, dialect, profession, prior task performance.

04

Collection & quality assurance

Data is collected, then reviewed against the rubric from step 2. Disagreement and rework are part of this stage, not a sign something went wrong — see quality & methodology for how that's measured.

05

You receive your dataset

Structured data in the format your pipeline expects, with metadata and a QA report — not just a zip file with no documentation of how it was produced.

Timelines

Project design typically takes days, not weeks, once requirements are clear. Collection timelines depend on volume, contributor availability for the specific profile you need, and review depth — we'll give you a real estimate on the scoping call rather than a generic promise here.
